Pokémon Legends Z-A Leak Reveals: Ready to Entertain with Its New Story

While occasionally, there is an accurate leak on 4chan, it should be noted that there have also been plenty of inaccurate ones that stem from the wish fulfillment or sharing theories found elsewhere and stating them as fact.
Pokemon Legends Z-A Marks The End of Pokemon Remakes
With the possible reveal and launch of Pokemon Gen 10 in 2025, and Pokemon Legends Z-A now taking the spotlight for a possible Q1 release next year, there just doesn't seem to be a lot else to expect from the mainline series at the time being. Even if Pokemon Gen 10 games are moved out of 2025 and into 2026 to honor the 30th anniversary of the franchise, it seems unlikely that Gen 5 remakes will see the light of day in between those releases.
There is still the chance that Gen 5 remakes are outsourced, much like Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were, but even then, these games would have likely been announced for 2024 or 2025.

More importantly, seeing how poor the reception for the outsourced Gen 4 remakes was, it seems far more probable that The Pokemon Company simply decided to do away with remakes as a whole, breaking a cycle that started all the way back in 2004 with Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen.
If this is the case, Unova fans may have to wait for a new Pokemon Legends game to explore the region once more, and if The Indigo Disk was meant to be that "game," then the wait may very well be a long one.
